Speed The Light


This month at Transit we are talking about "Giving Up," what are we giving up in our lives for others? Speed The Light is an awesome chance for us to give so that missionaries like these two don't have to ride a bike, but can drive a car. On Monday I am going to be riding a bike 120miles, the longest bike ride I've ever been on, to Alabama and back to raise money for Speed The Light. What can you do to raise money for Speed The Light and give up yourself for someone else? What are you giving up?

First Day Of School!

Small Groups launched last night and the competition was fierce! Everglow started off with the major lead, but Remedy came back with the win! Reach


Tonight is the launch of Reach, Transit's online membership website. When you first get to Transit tonight, you'll be signed up for the Transit online membership and receive your own ID Tag for checking in to Transit on Wednesday nights. You'll also get a username and password to login to the Transit website. Be sure to be looking good tonight, because we'll be taking your picture too. Come on out tonight and show up a little early (6:30pm) so we can get you online with Transit sooner. See ya tonight. Keegan

Make It Count

Hey Transit! I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend and have all your fingers still intact. It was fun to see a bunch of you at the Douglasville fireworks display. This week at Transit we will be wrapping up the series "CHANGED" with a message called "Let Em' Know." Next week we'll be launching the membership side of transitstudents.com, so be at Transit to get your Transit ID Tag and login details. The next two Transit nights after that will be a Braves game, and the launching of Transit Small Groups. Transit : In The Works

We've got some new stuff in the works for Transit that you will be seeing here in the next couple of weeks. July 15th we'll launch the membership side to our website, where you can login and take advantage of the student events, DevoBlog, Pray For Me, Get Involved, Invite, and Bright Idea sections of the website. You'll also be able to comment on things such as this post, right on the site. Then on July 29th we'll be launching our brand new Transit Small Groups, with a different format than you've ever seen. Camp 2009

Hey Transit. Camp 2009 is coming up this Monday and I'm excited to have fun with you guys and see God change your life forever. The camp speaker Allen Griffin is speaking this weekend at our CCH worship experiences. Come check it out to see what we'll get at camp all week long. The CCH times are Sat 6pm / Sun 9am / 10:45am.
